Location, Location, Location
Location matters. From the heart of Lake Forest to the edge of Lake Michigan, our spaces reflect who we are: grounded in connection, inspired by beauty, and open to all.
We gather October thru May at the Gorton Center in Lake Forest, where worship fills the John & Nancy Hughes Theater and fellowship continues in the sunlit Glore Solarium. Our Community Rooms host children’s programs, small groups, and gatherings throughout the week.
In summer, we gather at Sunrise Beach in Lake Bluff, where worship meets the waves and gratitude rises with the sun.
And for those joining from afar, online worship is available each Tuesday.

Making our services available online to people outside our area, or who are unable to attend on Sunday, has been a Community Church priority for a number of years. However, during Covid times we realized in a heightened way both the importance and potential of providing online services. When people move to a new location, they often find themselves spiritually stranded. “We can’t find anything like the Community Church,” is a frequent lament. Additionally, on-demand video has become normative; people want to watch, or worship, according to their schedules.
So, we email our services to our email database as soon as possible following the Sunday service – typically Monday morning. If you’d like to receive weekly emails including the worship service, sign up below. And we invite you to visit our On-Demand Archive for our most recent service.
